LeAnn Rimes is in the news for getting negative feedback after joking about rape and virginity. The musician is being slammed for the incident, which took place during an episode of Joan Rivers' show "In Bed With Joan".
According to a report from Us Magazine, the country singer appeared at the veteran comedienne's web series last week along with husband Eddie Cibrian.
The reality TV couple tackled Joan Rivers' raunchy questions while sharing cocktails. The 81-year-old host then asked the 32-year-old Grammy winner about losing her virginity.
The "How Do I Live" singer answered: "I was in Monte Carlo and I was 15?"
LeAnn Rimes added: "I know, it's kind of a bulls--- story. I was 16. There you go."
Joan Rivers tried to squeeze out more information from the twice-married country star: "Was it nice? Was it bad? Was he nice?"
LeAnn Rimes then answered: "Well, he was my boyfriend for like three and a half years. He was fine. I think I raped him. I think that's how it happened."
The LeAnn Rimes rape joke made news soon after she delivered it, as people slammed her online for poking fun at such a sensitive issue.
LeAnn Rimes has not yet addressed the controversy, said Us Magazine.
LeAnn Rimes has been in the news recently because of her reality show with husband Eddie Cibrian, "LeAnn & Eddie", which premiered in VH1 a few weeks ago.
A recent report from Fox News revealed that the country singer has expressed in their show how much she wants to have kids already.
"Baby, baby, baby, I'm excited," the country star giggled on the fifth episode of "LeAnn & Eddie".
LeAnn Rimes news also reveal that she has been spending time with Jake and Mason, Eddie Cibrian's children with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Brandi Glanville.
Eddie Cibrian left his first wife Brandi Glanville for LeAnn Rimes. The former has been very vocal about her disappointment over the reality TV couple, saying that seeing her ex husband's new wife spending time with her children is "the worst pain".
