Google Hangouts audio call feature is now available alongside with voice calling, indicated in a report in The Fuse Joplin. This new feature comes into existence as Google voice becomes a part of the Hangouts app. As you may remember, Google voice first became visible in Gmail back in 2010.

Subsequently, the internet giant company has one by one included Google Talk, Google Plus, Messenger and text messages all in one in the Hangouts app.

Google Hangouts audio call features should enhance its competitiveness in the online industry for VOIP. Skype and Viber are the current leading apps in the VOIP industry. Recently, though, What's App has also joined these two apps by taking the new voice calling tool to the next level.

The Fuse Joplin also reported that Google Hangouts has launched the new audio call features for IOS, initially. There has been no word yet of the launch of the Android format for Hangouts. Users can make calls in Hangouts using their Google voice number, as of the moment.

Google audio call features are among the components in the centralized application Google offers. Anyone with a Google account can avail of the tools and apps from Google under a single account.

It may make you tired of awaiting the availability of new online tools. However, as an Android user, you will have to be patient while awaiting the availability to access these features.
