An ominous and slowed-down version of Beyonce's Crazy in Love is the theme song of the film Fifty Shades of Grey.

Has Beyonce signed to do the whole soundtrack of the film? What does this mean?

Queen Bey started the film's promo; she posted the teaser of the best film adaptation of the best-selling erotic romance book "Fifty Shades of Grey." The teaser shows Christian Grey played by Jamie Doma, looking out the window at his office and pulling up a faceless woman's dress. The film will be hitting the theatres February of 2015. The full trailer was released on July 24.

The ending of the song is the best part of the teaser. Well, it is a darker and slowed down remix to Beyonce's breakthrough solo single. Beyonce premiered the big event of the teaser on her Instagram account; this may mean she has been hired for the entire soundtrack. The trailer gathered 36.5 million hits during the first week since it was posted by Bey on July 24.

By 2012, some Hollywood productions were preparing presentations to the agent and author of the book to get film rights of the trilogy. Universal, Warner Bros, Sony and even Mark Wahlberg's production bid for the film rights, with Focus Features and Universal Pictures were able to secure the trilogy's rights. There are some parts of the film's creative process that the author retained some control. Dana Brunetti and Michael De Luca of the Social Network producers were handpicked by E.L. James. Though, American Psycho Writer Bret Easton Ellis publicly expressed his interest to write the screenplay, the production hired Kelly Marcel and Patrick Marber. Both was chosen by the director Sam Taylor-Johnson to polish the character works and the entire script. The script doctoring was done by Mark Bomback, while Mark Bridges did the costume design. The budget is $40million, according to Entertainment Weekly.
