"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" cast was hit with the ultra-shocking news that Teresa Aprea's husband Rino cheated on his wife with his mother-in-law.

Producers reportedly waited until that episode aired to film that season's final episode earlier this week, according to USA Headlines.

According to Radar Online, the filming for the finale was filled with screaming, crying and violent threats. The ladies reportedly got together at an event for Dina Manzo's charity, the "Lady Bug Project," and Bravo cameras followed.

"Producers waited to film the finale until after the explosive episode about Rino and his mother-in-law having sex aired because they wanted to get that raw emotion captured on camera. And it worked!," stated a source.

The insider added, "Teresa and her twin sister Nicole went after Amber for what they say are lies Jim (Amber's husband) is spreading about the family. Dina got very upset that everyone was fighting at her charity event, and Teresa Giudice just hung back and let everyone else act like fools."

According to the source, there was "plenty of alcohol" at the event because producers were reportedly hoping that would amp up the drama.

As for the rumor that started all the RHONJ madness, the source confirmed that Rino and his mother-in-law, Santa, did in fact have sex and "it happened more than once."

Although the shocking news didn't cause a moment as dramatic as Teresa Giudice's infamous table toss, the RHONJ cast did get quite emotional during filming, as "plenty of tears, yelling and threats of violence" filled the night, according to the insider for the entertainment website.
