Taylor Swift in "The Voice" proves the show is never short on surprises and star power. The singing competition has confirmed the "Red" singer will sit in as a guest adviser in one of its upcoming episodes.

Part of the show's success is its lineup of powerhouse talents, with Gwen Stefani, Pharell Williams, and Adam Levine pooled in to lend their expertise and star power in the judging. In a recent Us Weekly report, show-runners also confirmed Taylor Swift will make an appearance in the show, as an advisor in an episode.

A source told the magazine in the report: "Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with. She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."

This won't be the first time Taylor makes an appearance in the show, though. Her singles are confirmed performance favorites for contestants. She also dropped by to advise a contestant in June 2013, during the latter's rehearsals.

Taylor Swift in "The Voice," comments on contestant Michelle Chamuel's rendition of the "Red" album's "I Knew You Were Trouble:"

"That was so emotional. All the vocal runs you picked, it was so amazing, The way you doubled over with your hair in your face and everything, don't stop doing that." Taylor gave Chamuel a two thumbs up in approval.

"The Voice" has a reputation for recruiting a who's who of celebrities in the music industry; Stevie Nicks, Gavin Rossdale, Little Big Town, and Alicia Keys are also confirmed for Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Pharell Williams' teams, as guest mentors in upcoming episodes.

Taylor Swift as "The Voice" guest advisor will help out contestants from all of the teams. "The Voice" Season 7 starts September 22, more than a month before Swift's "1989" album releases on October 27 (source: rollingstone.com).
