TJ Dillashaw's next fight may possibly be against teammate Urijah Faber of Team Alpha Male, and UFC President Dana White guarantees that it will happen despite the friendship between both bantamweights.

TJ Dillashaw's next fight has yet to be determined, since he is coming off a successful title defense at UFC 177 this past week at his hometown of Sacramento, California. The 28-year old Team Alpha Male fighter defeated UFC newcomer Joe Soto via fifth round TKO.

The possibility of TJ Dillashaw's next fight against Urijah Faber was brought up right after "The Viper's" victory against Renan Barão at UFC 173 in May. Dillashaw openly declared that he would only agree to face "The California Kid" if the UFC shelled out the money for them to fight.

"It's a crazy situation that we could be put in, but they want the drama behind the fights," Dillashaw explained during his appearance at the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in June. "Hey, if they're willing to shell out the cash maybe me and Urijah will have a smile on our face while fighting."

UFC President Dana White, however, claimed that both men would still be willing to face each other, as he likened the situation to that of former welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and teammate Rory MacDonald.

"It's no different than GSP and Rory Macdonald," White said during the UFC 177 post-fight media scrum. "You don't run around saying 'I'll fight him tomorrow. I want his belt.' and all these stuff. And all of these guys believe they can beat each other in the back of their minds, since they all train together."

White further guaranteed that both TJ Dillashaw and Urijah Faber would agree to face each other, even without a huge amount of money involved.

"When it all comes down to it, Faber would 100% fight him for way less than a billion dollars, and TJ would definitely fight him," he added.
