Daredevil is one of the four Marvel-based series that will premiere in early May 2015 on the streaming service, Netflix.
The cast are Vincent D' Onofrio as Kingpin a.k.a Wilson Fisk (Daredevil's nemesis), Charlie Cox as the Man Without Fear, Eldern Hensopn, Peter Shinkado and Rosario Dawson will be in Part 1 and 2.
True Blood Star, Deborah Ann Woll will be joining them, she played a neophyte vampire, Jessica Hamby on HBO's series, for seven seasons. The said series ended on August 24th. When Woll was asked during an interview with Zap2It! What are the similarities of Jessica to her Daredevil character, Karen Page? She replied, "Well, I'm already starting to notice huge differences between the two characters [in 'True Blood' and 'Daredevil']. That's already kind of exciting to play. I can feel myself go, "Oh, if this was Jessica she would do this," but wanting to kind of steer differently than that. It's always going to be me in some way. I think, as an actor, that's part of it. You have to bring some of yourself to it, and that's why you have to revisit roles over and over again, so you can see different people bring themselves to the part. So it's always going to feel a little bit similar because it will always be a piece of me, but I can choose to respond differently or play things closer to the chest. It's been a really interest experience, actually, stepping outside of Jessica."
Karen Page is the love interest of Matt Murdoch, in the Daredevil comics, with their relationship that weathered varied and many problems, before she was killed by Bullseye, which was played by Colin Farrell in the 2003 movie.
Woll sounded like playing Karen will need a valuable shift in style and method. The actress went on how to deal with the character's emotional range.
Unfortunately, Karen will become a heroin addict and involve into pornography. Woll, is famous for having bared on True Blood.
