Former "The Voice" coach CeeLo Green recently went on a Twitter rant about rape after he allegedly slipped his girlfriend with ecstasy and then had sex with her.

"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously. People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!" he wrote.

Green's ex-girlfriend previously filed a case against the music mogul for allegedly spiking her drink back in 2012 in Los Angeles. The woman later on woke up drugged and naked on Green's bed, according to Star Pulse.

In another tweet, Green clarified that his no contest plea wasn't necessarily an admission of guilt.

"So if I TRIED but did NOT succeed but the person said I DID then what really happened?"

Green immediately deleted the series of tweets he posted, but he did so a little too late because thousands of his followers have already reacted to his messages.

Twitter user @blowticious wrote, "You deleted this one too. RT @CeeLoGreen: women who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!"

Another person wrote, "@CeeLoGreen is disgusting...I hope his daughters never come across anyone like him in his lifetime."

The composer later on posted another set of tweets apologizing for his previous statements, Radio reported.

"I will not allow that negative energy to loiter on my time line u still got it so keep it! I'm deleting this too!"

In another tweet, he wrote, "Let me 1st praise god for exoneration fairness & freedom! Secondly I sincerely apologize for my comments being taken so far out of context. I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this. Please forgive me as it was your support and that got me thru this to begin with. I'd never condone that harm of any women. Thank you."

Green was sentenced to three years probation, 360 hours of community service at the MusiCares Foundation of the Recording Academy and alcohol counseling sessions.

He has since deleted his Twitter account.
