Kate Gosselin made news last week after she posted an amusing back-to-school photo of her eight children, who will appear with her in the reality series "Kate Plus 8". The reality TV mom also admitted that being a single mom to a family as big as hers is "very, very difficult".
Reported by Daily Mail, the said photo showed Kate Gosselin's 12-year-old twin daughters Cady and Mady and 10-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel. The kids had their backpacks and smiled for their camera in the photo tweeted by the 39-year-old mom last Thursday.
The photo, which also featured their family dog Shoka, was captioned: "Happy 1st/2nd day of school! And, Shoka joined pic w/o being asked-&stole the show w his smile".
Kate Gosselin Twitter news said she was not able to post a photo on the exact first day of classes. She explained via Twitter on Wednesday: "Twas the first day of school today but why no traditional ''front porch photo'' w bookbags&lunch boxes? Bc Leah is home sick on 1st day!"
The family gained worldwide popularity from their reality series "Jon and Kate Plus 8", which debuted in TLC in 2007. However, since Kate Gosselin news said she and ex-husband Jon Gosselin called it quits in 2009, the reality TV dad will no longer be part of the series spinoff, "Kate Plus 8".

Prior to the tell-all book "Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled The World", the reality star's parenting struggles were allegedly documented in a personal journal kept in 2007, said a report from Radar Online.
