The Lady Gaga Israel concert is still on for September 13 amid controversies that have made other big acts cancel their shows. According to a report from The Jerusalem Post, the pop superstar confirmed that she will still perform for her fans in the Tel Aviv leg of her "artRave: The ARTPOP Ball" international tour.

To promote the Lady Gaga Israel concert, the singer released a video on Monday to greet her fans in Israel. The 10-second clip clip showed the "Born This Way" singer greeting her fans "Shalom", a Hebrew word which means "peace".

The video followed her concert management's announcement last Sunday that the Tel Aviv leg of her "artRave: The ARTPOP Ball" international tour will still proceed as planned.

Israeli concert producer Udi Appleboim announced: "I'm proud and happy that Lady Gaga will come to Israel as planned. It is an honor to host her for a historic concert."

Among the high-profile acts that cancelled their Israel shows include the Backstreet Boys, Lana Del Rey, and Neil Young. Prior to the pop diva's confirmation, speculations circulated that the Lady Gaga Israel concert will also be cancelled.

The"artRave: The ARTPOP Ball" will be held in Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park.

According to the report by The Jerusalem Post, music icon Tony Bennett will also be in Tel Aviv for a show to be held a day before the pop star's gig. The news has sparked rumors that Tony Bennett might make a guest appearance at the diva's show, whom he collaborated with for the jazz album "Cheek To Cheek".

Israel's BDS movement has attempted to stop the show via an online petition. However, only 1,339 signatures were gathered for the said protest.

The "artRave: The ARTPOP Ball" on September 13 will be the pop star's second time to have a concert in Israel. Her first concert was at a two-day festival entitled "Non-Stop Musix" back in 2009.
