"24" TV series might get a full movie adaptation after the positive response on "Live Another Day." cast Kiefer Sutherland shows off his fit form as he participated in the ALS ice bucket challenge.

Michael Ausiello dished out "24" TV series news to TVLine after talking to a source who said that the studio Imagine Entertainment is coming around to making the feature film after highly successful "24: Live Another Day" series.

The chairman of Imagine, Brian Grazer, is reportedly interested in the idea although it has yet to be pitched to 20th Century Fox.

Last month, Nielsen said that the "24: Live Another Day" finale only generated 6.5 million views, which was less than the 9 million views in season 8 final episode. But once all platforms were counted, the last episode outdrew the season 8 finale when it generated 10.7 million views compared to 10.5 million last season.

Reportedly, 1.3 million of the views came from fans who watched the finale through the Hulu, FOX Now and video-on-demand platforms.

Earlier executive producer Jon Cassar told TVGuide that there could be more adventures for Jack Bauer in the future.

"What's nice about it, just like with the ending we had before, is that it's still open. Whether 24 comes back or not, Jack Bauer is still out there. That's what I liked about the ending, and I think that's what a lot of people are going to like about it," he said.

Meanwhile, Kiefer Sutherland is very much on board on the "24" TV series movie adaptation, according to Comic Book Resources.

"We left it open at the end of Season 8 because we had every intention of doing a feature film, and for a variety of reasons that never ended up happening," Sutherland replied. "The character of Jack Bauer has been the biggest blessing of my life and when I got the call from Howard Gordon saying he had this great idea, what do I think about doing it again, there were about five minutes of 'Oh, I could never ...' Then it was, 'When do we start?'"

Speaking of Kiefer Sutherland, he showed off his fit bod and his ink while participating in the ALS ice bucket challenge after he was nominated by a crew member, MailOnline said. After chucking the bucket over his head, he can only exclaim, "refreshing."
