Marvel's Cinematic Universe has been a well-oiled blockbuster success machine, in the past three years. The most recent victory of Marvel Studio, Guardians of the Galaxy, overtook this year's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, for the dometically released top grossing film. Though, Marvel studios attribute well-developed woman characters, like Black Widow played by Scarlett Johansson, fans have been vying for a woman superhero leading her own film. Black Widow is an established character, which seems the closest choice.

Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, said that they presently studying doing a woman superhero film, presently they are busy managing the present heroes in its Marvel Cinema Universe to introduce another franchise. As for the people pushing Black Widow for a solo film, as for Warner Bros/DC, MCU's competitor, Gal Gadot signed a three-picture contract, including a Wonder Woman film.

Robert Downey, Johansson's co-star in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, said in an USA Today interview, about what his thoughts of all the Black Widow film and surrounding speculations, "Doesn't Scarlett deserve a break?"

He added, "I think that the interesting thing particularly after 'Guardians' with Zoe [Saldana], [or] even from the first 'Iron Man' where Pepper was kind of this really - to me the 'Iron Man' franchise would never have taken off without [Gwyneth] Paltrow. There's something about her that grounded the story. She's not your typical lady in a superhero movie, and then by 'Iron Man 3' she's swallowing serums and putting on suits and kicking [butt] and all that stuff."

On the other hand, if Black Widow accepts Ironman's suggestion in giving Natasha Romanov a big break, it is probable that she could have her own movie, maybe somewhere or next in line, or MCU could choose different female superhero for a new franchise. Do you agree with Ironman?
