When will the "Iron Man 4" rumors end? Just when we thought that Robert Downey Jr. will be reprising his role in the fourth installment, new reports revealed that he may be replaced by his co-star. A few months ago, there were rumors that the 49-year old actor will retire and give his role to a younger actor, but now Iron Man will be taken over by someone you are familiar with.

I'm sure that got you all curious, right? Enstarz recently reported that Tony Stark's right hand man James Rhodes, who is played by Don Cheadle, may be the next Iron Man. The website said, "While it was originally Terrence Howard in the role, Don Cheadle has played James Rhodes a.k.a. War Machine for the past two Iron Man movies and will reprise the role once again for Avengers: Age of Ultron. So could he be groomed to take over for Downey Jr. and the Iron Man franchise?"

The website explained that Tony Stark's fate may be the same as that of Chris Evans' Captain America. Enstarz explained the latest "Iron Man 4" rumors and said: "Much like Anthony Mackie or Sebastain Stan taking over for Chris Evans after Captain America 3, it could be a similar situation for Cheadle and Iron Man 4." They also said, "The actor has pretty much been there for the entire growth of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and would be a due a leading role in a big movie."

In a separate report, supervillain the Mandarin, may be returning in "Iron Man 4". We last saw Iron Man's archenemy in the third sequel and the character was played by Ben Kingsley. In an interview with IGN, the 70-year old actor talked about reprising his role as Mandarin and doing another comic character under Trevor Slattery, who is the Mandarin version in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Kingsley said, "So, it's up to the powers that be to decide whether or not they'd want to introduce Trevor, whether or not they'd want to reintroduce the Mandarin." The English actor also teased, "Has the Mandarin invented Trevor, or has Trevor invented the Mandarin? Which is which?"

He explained, "The Mandarin could be so supremely intelligent that he could have said, 'You know what? I'll invent this actor, and he will be my mask.' You know, which is which? Who's pulling the strings. Now, this is me just free-thinking here, but I would love to revisit that world."

Ben Kingsley continued, "But Trev, bless him, may have made an indelible mark on that world. So everyone might say, 'Is it Trev under there?' So they'd have to approach it quite carefully, and so would I, but I would love to go back to that world, yeah."
