Chris Brown case details were revealed earlier this week, saying the singer has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault charges in Washington. According to the report from Daily Mail, Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran was present during the hearing to support her boyfriend.

The Chris Brown case stemmed from an incident in Washington wherein the R&B star allegedly punched a man. The singer was said to have been provoked after the man tried to join a picture of Chris Brown with two women outside the W hotel.

Chris Brown was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault. He was sentenced to time served on Tuesday, and had been in jail for two days due to the case, said Daily Mail.

The man at the center of the controversy claimed he was simply trying to get a photograph with the singer.

The misdemeanor assault committed in Washington violated the probation that the singer has been under since 2009, after he attacked singer and ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Chris Brown has acknowledged the probation violation to a judge in Los Angeles.

Christopher Hollosy, a security personnel of the R&B superstar, was also accused of hitting the victim in relation with the Chris Brown case.

TMZ reported that Chris Brown apologized in court, saying he wanted to fix his music career.

Chris Brown previously spent 108 days in jail for a probation violation after allegedly throwing threats about using guns. This was while he was in rehab seeking anger management treatment.The singer was released from jail on June 2.

The singer appeared at a Los Angeles court a month ago for a probation progress report. He was reportedly commended by the judge for his good behavior.

The singer's girlfriend of five years, Karrueche Tran, was present during the hearing for the Chris Brown case.

The on-again-off-again couple reportedly broke up last August, said TMZ.

However, Daily Mail reported just a few weeks later how Chris Brown appeared to be dating Karrueche Tran again.
