LA Lakers news reveal that Kobe Bryant is secretly working out with Tracy McGrady which kickstarted rumors of a comeback for the retired all-star. Black Mamba, meanwhile, confessed that age has caught up to him.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports dished out LA Lakers news when he reported that Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady secret workouts at the Southern California were real.

"Yes, I was working out with K.B. to get in shape and see how my body feels," McGrady confirmed to Yahoo Sports on Tuesday night.

According to Wojnarowski, the Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady secret workouts were conducted three days a week last August. But the 35-year-old T-Mac has shot down any comeback rumors as he told the website, "The comeback will not happen, unless I have the drive whenever I get back."

The sports columnist also revealed that the Tracy McGrady comeback in the NBA is a longshot considering that he has to fulfill an obligation after signing for a basketball tour in China starting in October. That means he will miss training camp.

Meanwhile, in other LA Lakers news, Kobe Bryant admitted that age is catching up to him and that means he won't be able to do what he did at his prime. But it doesn't mean that he will just sit idly by and accept his fate because there are some things he can still control, skill-wise.

"I do the moves over and over. Especially in my younger days, I didn't really focus on trying to get my feet faster. I focused on the moves," he said during the Nike Rise campaign, per Lakers Nation.

"Whether it was a fadeaway, or whether it was a crossover, I did the move over and over and over. Then, I got faster at doing moves. My feet got faster at doing the moves. When you have repetition with what it is you're trying to do, you inevitably get better and faster at that. The most important thing in basketball isn't speed anyway. It's not speed. It's skill," he said.
