New updates for Platinum Games' action hack and slash video game, Bayonetta 2 has been revealed.
Bayonetta 2 is the direct sequel to the first Bayonetta video game in 2009, and is being directed by Yusuke Hashimoto and produced by Atsushi Inaba, under supervision by series creator Hideki Kamiya, and the game will be exclusive only for the Wii U.
The release date for Bayonetta 2 has been announced and according to reports from Eurogamer, Bayonetta 2 will be available on October 24, 2014 in North America and in Europe.
Eurogamer further reports that the game will arrive in three different versions: The First Print Edition, the Special Edition, and the Solus Edition.
The First Print Edition, (which is limited to only 15,300 copies) comes with boxed versions of both Bayonetta and its sequel clad in special case, along with an "Art of Bayonetta 2" book designed to resemble the game's "The Hierarchy of Laguna" tome.
Special Edition will also include both games in separate cases, but without any of the extra contents that the First Print Edition.
And finally the Solus Edition is only a vanilla copy of the game in a retail box.
There are also new trailers for Bayonetta 2 as both Metro and Gamespot reports that Bayonetta will have additional costumes in the game which includes Princess Peach, Link, Samus, and Star Fox.
