Nokia Lumia 830 specs didn't stop any shows at Thursday's IFA event; it's still Microsoft's most affordable flagship device to date, though.
The Nokia Lumia 830 specs can't compare to those on current top-of-the-line smartphones, and Microsoft doesn't even intend to compete. What it offers is a solid device at a very affordable price point, which is an appeal with a market of its own.
The Windows flagship phone is set for an international launch this September, priced at a reasonable $434 as standalone unit. Price may range with mobile carrier plans, though.
BGR offers the meat of the Nokia Lumia 830 specs, which isn't so bad for a mid-range smartphone.
"The phone packs a 5-inch ClearBlack IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720p resolution and "2.25D" curved glass, 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, microSD support, 15GB of free One Drive cloud space, 10-megapixel PureView camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), LTE, GPS, 2,200mAh removable battery, Qi wireless charging support and Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim on top."
Aside from the staple white and black finishes, the Lumia 830 will also come in orange and green. The build is solid to the touch, weighing 150 grams.
The device will be installed with the Lumia Denim Update, an upgrade to the Cyan. With Windows Phone 8.1 OS, some of the features built into the device include Cortana, Live Folders, and Apps Corner.
Features unique to the device are also installed, especially for the 10 megapixel camera, as well as "Hey Cortana" voice activation.
Nokia also throws in a few nifty add-ons to sweeten up the deal, such as extra mics to enhance audio and video recordings, as well as a wireless charging option with removable covers. The Nokia Lumia 830 specs pack a punch of features for anyone looking for a backup phone at a mid-range price, even though it's tagged a bit steeper than the Moto G (source: trustedreviews.com).
