After rumors surfaced that "Ghostbusters III" will be an all female cast, Bill Murray gave it his blessing.
While talking with Scott Mantz of Access Hollywood and movie reviewer Schmoes Know, the comedian suggested that the public should definitely give an all female cast a chance.
"It sounds great to me. It sounds as good an idea as any other! There are a lot of women that could scare off any kind of vapor!" Murray said about the possible "Ghostbusters 3." "No, it’s a grand idea, I don’t know who they’re talking about, but it’s a good idea, I would watch it! I mean, I love Robert Palmer’s videos, so why wouldn’t I love the female Ghostbusters? "
According Cinema Blend , supposedly Paul Feig, the director of "Bridemaids," is up for the "Ghostbuster 3" director position. The movie is still in the pre-production phase.
In the meantime, catch Murray in the movie "St. Vincent" on October 24th.
