Lady Gaga news reported the "Cheek To Cheek" singer allegedly snapped at noisy audience members during Harper's Bazaar afterparty for New York Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015.
According to a report from Fox News, the incident occurred last Friday night at Plaza Hotel. The 28-year-old pop diva was reportedly at her song's high notes when she got annoyed at a crowd that was chatting loudly during her performance.
The 28-year-old music icon was performing songs from her "Cheek To Cheek" jazz album collaboration with jazz legend Tony Bennett.
Lady Gaga news reported the singer stopped in the middle of her second song and told the crowd: "Will you (expletive) shut up? We're playing some jazz... Goddamn rich people."
"So, if you all keep it down while I sing my boyfriend a song, I'd appreciate it," she added.
After the reported tirade, Lady Gaga continued singing other tracks from her "Cheek To Cheek" album, which is scheduled to be released on September 23. Songs included a cover of "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye" by Cole Porter and "Chicago Fire" actor Taylor Kinney.
Among the guests present during Lady Gaga's performance at the Harper's Bazaar afterparty were Donatella Versace, Liberty Ross, Brooke Shields and R&B singers Maxwell and Miguel.
Fox News also reported that a portion of the black-tie event honored Lady Gaga and other women in fashion.
The singer was interviewed at the event's red carpet, saying: "An icon, I believe, is somebody that has a strong message behind their beauty and I think all of the women that are here tonight have that."
She added: "I'm not sure that I have it, but I am pretty happy to be on the list with all these super models, so thank you."
Aside from Lady Gaga news during the Harper's Bazaar afterparty, other scene stealers during New York Fashion Week 2014 included Rihanna and Nicki Minaj. The two reportedly sat front row at Alexander Wang's Spring 2015 preview, said Washington Post.
