Brain to brain instant messaging may be the next big thing you'll have in this world.
Rumors of an upcoming brain to brain instant messaging have been in the news. According to a report in Tech News World, an international body of neuroscientists and robotics engineers are studying the possibility of a brain to brain communication, even between people in different parts of the world.
Tech News World reported that Alvaro Pascual-Leone, a Harvard medical professional commented on the rumors surrounding brain to brain instant messaging:
"We wanted to find out if one could communicate directly between two people by reading out the brain activity from one person and injecting brain activity into the second person, and do so across great physical distances by leveraging existing communication pathways."
Kirk Borne, a George Washington University staff member had this to say about the possible revolutionary discovery that could change the world you live in:
"It will be the beginning of revolutionary communication channels for scenarios where other forms of communication are severely restricted or prohibited."
Borne further made these comments with regards to the brain to brain instant messaging rumors, as reported in Tech News World:
"This approach seems far too expensive, cumbersome and complicated than simply texting someone a message or picking up the phone or using your own voice," he said. "It is probably little more than a fanciful novelty for situations such as gaming."
