New gameplay details for Ubisoft's popular game franchise, Assassin's Creed: Unity have been revealed.

Eurogamers has reported that new character and gear customization have been implemented in Assassin's Creed: Unity and posted a video of it in there YouTube channel.

Assassin's Creed: Unity creative director Alex Amancio explained the new co-op game features revealing that customization doesn’t end with the player’s onscreen look. Amancio explains that Unity includes over 200 pieces of unlockable gear asserting that each piece includes specific benefits. By customizing Arno’s appearance, players also alter how the character plays in the game allowing players to create an assassin that suits their own unique style from stealth, short range brawling, and many more.

Eurogamer has also described the functions of the new Rift Mode. The Rift mode sees players race around an environment collecting glyphs for points, while attempting to beat the ghosts of their friends. Some levels will feature specific Assassins and Templars in time periods other than Unity, and players will likely see the return of past characters such as Altair, Ezio, Edward Kenway, Aveline and many more.

The Rift Mode was first reported that a Reddit user leaked the Beta Test for Rift Mode and posted it on YouTube. But, unfortunately the footage has been removed by the users. Ubisoft has declined any comment on the leaked footage and requested Reddit's Assassin's Creed board to abstain from posting the leak or discussing any details of it.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft has changed the release date of Unity.

According to reports from The Fuse Joplin, the game developers of Assassin's Creed: Unity have found some system issues of the game in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox consoles. The development team announced that the delay would allow them to work better on the title and make the necessary changes.

Compared to a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, the new platforms have more PC like technical systems and it is mandatory for them to make sure the games run well on them. Besides all this, there’s also the issue of delivering 1080p resolution on these platforms which has been giving a hard time for developers. The recent Gamescom trailer looked a bit dumbed down and the graphics wasn't as cool looking as the game originally showed during E3 2014.

The website further add that UbisoftI made an official press statement saying that the two weeks or so delay period will allow them to enhance the quality of the game, as expected by fans.

One just can’t be sure how genuine this statement is. But, it is also going to be a tough problem for Ubisoft because October is free in terms of competitors on board. When it goes to November, other major titles are on board such as Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Alien Isolation, Lord of the Rings Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4 and others will hit the retail shelves.

PC Advisor has reported that Assassin's Creed: Unity will be released on November 11, 2014 in North America, and November 13 in Europe.
