Baltimore Ravens running back star Ray Rice was seen attacking his fiancée Janay Palmer while inside an elevator.
The shocking video which was released by TMZ featured the couple arguing with each other while inside an elevator in Atlantic City, New Jersey, before the running back hit Palmer on the head.
Just Baby Blog posted a Vine video of the newly-leaked clip published by TMZ via their Twitter account. The photo was captioned, "Defend Ray Rice. We dare you."
Previously, another video that featured Rice dragging Palmer out of the elevator was also leaked online, according to WJLA.
Rice was arrested following the February 15 incident. The National Football League also suspended him from two regular season games.
The couple got married a month after the incident and Rice issued a public apology to his wife on July 31.
Meanwhile, the newly-leaked video by TMZ is now raising concerns over how light Rice's punishment was, Bleacher Report noted.
Dan Levy tweeted, "Roger Goodell supposedly SAW this Ray Rice elevator footage before giving out the suspension? That's impossible."
Jane McManus tweeted, "Re Ray Rice knockout punch: I was told NFL had access to same evidence the police did when evaluating a 2-game suspension."
Rand Getlin added, "#NFL announces two-game suspension for Ray Rice. Full release attached."
After his suspension was declared, Rice released a statement on Ravens' website.
"It is disappointing that I will not be with my teammates for the first two games of the season, but that's my fault. As I said earlier, I failed in many ways. But, Janay and I have learned from this. We have become better as a couple and as parents. I am better because of everything we have experienced since that night. The counseling has helped tremendously."
On August 28, the NFL revised its domestic violence policy: six games for a first offense and a lifetime ban for a second offense.
