‘Biggest Celeb Nude Photo Leak’ Scandal In Hollywood: 1st Hacker I’d As Bryan Hamade By 4-Chan, Claims He Sold J. Lawrence Photo For $100, ‘Not Original Hacker’ According to reports, a new suspect has been found in the ‘biggest celeb nude photo Leak’ scandal In Hollywood dubbed Celebgate and sometimes called The Fappening. The photo leak exposed more than 100 actresses and it was done without their permission.’

Glee star Lea Michele, footballer Hope Solo, and Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence were among those targeted in the in the one of the biggest leaks in the industry. Although Apple denies that the photos were caused by a system wide breach, the Cupertino firm did say that some individual accounts appear to have been broken into. Experts say that hackers broke through one account at a time. Apparently, some photos were taken from individual iCloud accounts.

The hacker responsible, Bryan Hamade, was outed by 4-Chan members. He presumably has 60 nude photos of Lawrence as well as other superstars including models Kate Upton , Cara Delevingne and, singers Ariana Grande, Rihanna, and Lea Michelle and Kirsten Dunst. Hamade admits he attempted to sell images of Lawrence for $100 each, but insists it was an attempt to skim money that backfired. He says he was not the original hacker.

"It appears the intention was to never make these images public, but that somebody – possibly the previously identified distributor – decided that the opportunity to make some money was too good to pass up and decided to try to sell some of the images," writes security consultant Nik Cubrilovic. "My theory is that other members of the ring, seeing the leaks and requests for money also decided to attempt to cash in thinking the value of the images would soon approach zero, which lead to a race to the bottom between those who had access to them."

Hamade was in touch with BuzzFeed so he could declare his innocence in the nude photo fiasco. The software engineer explained that he only worked on one photo to cash in with a fake screenshot produced in Photoshop. “I am not behind this. It was so stupid. I saw a lot of people posting the actual leaks and bitcoin (an internet currency) addresses and I’ve read a lot about bitcoin and how they’re are valuable and I thought, ‘oh cool I’ll get free bitcoins,” News.com.au reported.
