A fan found a World of Warcraft Robin Williams tribute, confirming Blizzard Entertainment's promise to pay homage to the "Mrs. Doubtfire" star in-game.

The cameo in World of Warcraft by Robin Williams came about when WOW fans petitioned the actor be part of upcoming releases, as homage to a true fan of the game. Blizzard Entertainment previously commented that it won't make any promises, but will seriously consider the request.

It's confirmed William's will make a cameo appearance in the next World of Warcraft game. A fan spotted a striking reference to the comedian in a test version of "Warlords of Draenor;" there's a futuristic character who comes out of a lamp, and then quotes two lines from the genie in "Aladdin," William's voice character in the animated movie.

The World of Warcraft fanatic who spotted the cameo relayed his find on the fan site "Wowhead." The same fan also hinted at other references to the "Mrs. Doubtfire" actor, including a character wearing suspenders similar to Mork's in the TV sitcom "Mork & Mindy."

There's also a World of Warcraft Robin Williams tribute to 1993's "Mrs. Doubtfire," in a character with striking resemblance to William's cross-dressing nanny in the movie.

The Verge claims there are more references to Robin Williams when the final version of the game comes out on November 13, though Blizzard Entertainment has yet to confirm the report.

Robin Williams died of apparent suicide last August 11, and fans first clamored for Nintendo to include the actor in an upcoming game. Williams' daughter Zelda is named after one of the main characters in Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda."

Blizzard Entertainment seriously considered the possibility, and in a tweet three days after the actor's death, confirms: ".@robinwilliams Thank you. You gave us so much joy in our lives, and we hope you enjoyed your time in our world. We'll see you in-game."

World of Warcraft Robin Williams tribute may also include a playable character based on the actor's many characters, if Blizzard Entertainment accommodates fan requests for the same (source: yahoo.com).
