Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi Divorce Rumors Quashed, Couple Allegedly Intends To Stabilize Their Relationship And Make It Stronger

Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi divorce rumors surrounded the couple for the last few months. According to Inquisitr, the duo were receiving a lot of media attention, with allegations of cheating and drunken arguments making their way into the headlines as part of the ongoing divorce rumors.

According to Radar Online, a source revealed that the couple are now determined on stabilizing their relationship and making it stronger.

"Ellen says that she and Portia are doing so much better," a source who is very close to the talk show icon tells RadarOnline.

"Towards the end of last season everything was really taking a toll on her," the insider added, talking about The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which starts season 12 on Monday. "While Portia was in treatment and everyone was predicting that they were getting a divorce, it was really hard. But thankfully, all of that has passed."

"Ellen says that she will be with Portia forever and that she puts her wife before anything, even her career," the source said.

Previous reports suggest that the two are allegedly planning to start a family and have children together.

"All Portia can talk about is beginning a new chapter in their lives and starting a family. Portia made a video montage of Ellen with kids she's interviewed over the years... It really choked Ellen up. Portia hugged her, whispering, 'You'd be the best mother ever.' She thinks a child will bond her and× Ellen forever," an insider told In Touch Magazine.

Though divorce rumors have circled the pair in recent months, DeGeneres has repeatedly dispelled them to the public.

"I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told [De Rossi], and she was sad," she joked to Jimmy Kimmel on his show earlier this year. "We both were so sad."

Previously, the TV host told People magazine, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time."

The duo has been married for six years now.
