Blake Lively lifestyle brand and website "Preserve" recently paid tribute to pop diva Beyonce by making a personalized bee-inspired cake. The "Gossip Girl" actress showed off her baking skills and made a shout out to her singer friend, whom she fondly calls "Queen of all Bs".
According to the report from E! News, a short video of the personalized cake was posted in the Instagram page of the Blake Lively lifestyle brand "Preserve". The clip was uploaded last September 4 on Beyonce's 33rd birthday.
Beyonce's birthday cake baked by Blake Lively consisted of honey tiers shaped into a glistening beehive, edible flowers and leaves, plus a mini bee.
The caption read: "In honor of the Queen of all Bs...I had to make this Meyer Lemon Honey cake. Happy Birthday Beyoncé!!! Xxo Blake."
A shoutout to Beyonce was also posted in the Blake Lively "Preserve" Twitter page, wherein the blonde stunner called herself "one of (Beyonce's) worker Bs".
A previous report from E!Online describes Blake Lively "Preserve" as part magazine with articles, recipes and fashion spreads. Preserve is also part e-commerce with Blake Lively's selection of products for sale, that includes bow ties, sterling silver jewelry, jars of vegan hot fudge, porcelain vases, California-shaped cutting boards and more.
Blake Lively did not let many people around her know that she was launching Preserve. "It's what I know better than acting so being in this space is something I've done my whole life, just not professionally."
Blake Lively explained. "So now it's something that I get to share with more people. I've been sharing it with friends forever. I didn't even tell most friends that I was doing it because they still get their own curated products and gifts from me. I'm that girl."
"It was a very natural transition for me," said the actress about the Blake Lively lifestyle company. "Everything that Preserve is - it is everything that I grew up around in a big way."
