Blackberry, trying to make a huge comeback this 2014, introduces its all new flagship the Blackberry Passport. Seeing its design and shape, we don't have to ask why it was named that way. The only confirmed specs we have now are its 4.5-inch display rendering an impressive 1440 x 1440 pixel resolution at 453 ppi.

It is expected to measure 128x90.3x9.3mm, and weigh 194.4 grams, definitely surpassing the sizes of other recently release Blackberry flagships.

Meanwhile, speculations about what's inside the chassis include the Quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974-AA) processor, clocked at 2.2GHz, an Adreno 330 GPU with 3GB of RAM, and 32 GB internal storage. A microSD card slot that can hold up to 64 GB of data is also allegedly available in the Blackberry Passport (via NDTV Gadgets). It is said to come with a powerful battery life of 3450 mAh, but the power consumption of its huge display must be taken into consideration.

As you can notice, the device goes back to its QWERTY roots. But this time, Blackberry incorporates an innovative touch-enabled keyboard allowing users to perform many touch functions right on the keyboard.

As to how the company eyes the enterprise users, from doctors to businessmen, the below image might say it all.

Such clarity of display can easily help corporate people review and edit documents, and even those who are in the medical field who need to examine medical imager or technical schematics.

We can only rely on these speculations as of now as we wait for Blackberry Passport's official launch on September 24 in Toronto, London, and Dubai. The invite shows the tag line 'See the bigger picture' indicating the 'huge' advantage of this phone display wise.
