Some of the actors who played key roles in the previous movies in the franchise may be coming back for its fifth installation. The Pirates of the Caribbean 5 cast may include Orlando Bloom who was part of the movie's launching in 2003. The actor was also party of The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest in 2006, and was also part of At World's End in 2006.
But the Lord of the Rings star and Keira Knightley were noticeable absent for the film that followed, On Stranger Tides. But recently the Daily Mail website was able to interview Orlando Bloom about whether he will be part of the upcoming Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 cast.
During the Oz Comic-Con held in Brisbane, Australia, Bloom said that he is open to appearing as part of the Pirates Of The Caribbean 5 cast. "There have certainly been some discussions about it and I'm open to it. That whole experience working with Johnny and (director) Gore (Verbinski) was really amazing for me," the actor said.
In the movie, Bloom played a blacksmith turned pirate named Will Turner.
"One of the reasons I jumped at the opportunity was because Johnny was involved. I was such a massive fan of Johnny Depp growing up so to get up close and personal to Johnny and see how he worked as an actor was just a massive gift," Bloom added.
The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has grossed more than $ 3 billion at the worldwide box office, with its power house cast, led by Johnny Depp responsible for its staggering success.
The new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Dead Men Tell No Tales is set to begin filming in Queensland, Australia after the government approved of handing tax incentives worth $20 million dollars to Disney Pictures.
This newest installation in the franchise is set to be screened in the summer of 2017.
