When is the iPhone 6 release date? Most people ask this question after Apple launched its new products - iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Apple Watch, and Apple Pay today.

Apple iPhone 6 and Apple iPhone 6 Plus

"Today, we are pleased to announce the biggest advancement in iPhone," said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Users will not see the edges distinct to iPhones in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as both have "cover glass curves around the sides to meet the anodized aluminum enclosure". They also come thinner - iPhone 6 at 6.9mm and iPhone Plus at 7.1 mm. Both iPhone 6 models boast of their larger screens. iPhone 6's screen measures 4.7 inch while iPhone 6 Plus measures 5.5 inch. These also come in new retina HD display - 1334 by 750 resolution for iPhone 6 and 1920 by 1080 resolution for iPhone 6 Plus.

According to Trusted reviews, iPhone 6 release date will be on Sept. 19 - earlier than other Apple new products. Pre-orders for iPhone 6 will also be available Sept. 12, same with iPhone 6 Plus.

Apple Watch

Surely, people will notice the absence of the prefix "i" in the name of the Apple smartwatch. Didn't everyone speculate that it will be named 'Apple iWatch'? This may have something to do with trademark concerns reported earlier.

According to the company's website, Apple Watch collection, which will be released early 2015, "features highly polished stainless steel and space black stainless steel cases. The display is protected by sapphire crystal." Consumers can choose from three leather bands - a link bracelet, a Milanese loop, and a band made from high-performance fluoroelastomer.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay lets users securely pay through their iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch. They do not have to open the app or even light their screen. With its innovative "Near Field Communication" antenna present in their gadgets, they can make payments by just bringing the devices near the contactless reader and making sure that their fingers are on the Touch ID. Something innovative from Apple - again - right?
