While every fan is waiting for season 2 and the 2-part live-action movie, Attack On Titan news last September 8, said that its manga version has won 2014 Harvey Award.
According to AnimeNewsNetwork, the 2014 winners of Harvey Awards was announced last September 6. The creator of AOT manga, Hajime Isayama, won an award in the "Best American Edition of Foreign Material" category.
Source said that Attack on Titan was nominated for the award in July alongside Taiyo Matsumoto's Sunny, Shigeru Mizuki's Showa: A History of Showa Japan (Comic Showa-Shi), Matz's The Killer volume 4 by Studio Archaia, and Ulli Lust's Today Is the Last Day of the Rest of Your Life by Fantagraphics Books.
As for other Attack on Titan news, AOT has topped the sales in North America and Japan as it has garnered more than 40 million sold copies as of July 30. Currently, the anime adaptation is airing on Adult Swim's Toonami block. Kodansha USA is currently releasing the manga in North America.
The live-action movie is still in works. Geekyrant said, the release date of part 1 is plan to 2015. However, there is no official announcement yet about the release date of Attack on Titans Season 2.
