Rumors about the making of "Blade 4" with Wesley Snipes in the lead have been circulating on the Internet lately. There were even talks about his possible chasing around "Twilight" kids in the next franchise.
The New York Daily News Confidenti@l reported that the 52-year old "Expendables 3" actor will be sharpening his Samurai swords once more when he comes back to reprise his iconic role as Blade.
Based on the accounts of their resources, everything looks auspicious for the possible return of the half-human-half-vampire hero "Blade 4" with Wesley Snipes. Once everything falls into place and the movie becomes a reality, the actor would be earning a hefty $3 million talent fee plus a share in the overall profits.
Should these rumors about the creation of "Blade 4" with Wesley Snipes prove to be true, it would be an excellent way of resuming his career after a 2 ½ year hiatus spent behind bars due to tax evasion. Also, in the process, he would be reclaiming the glory back for the vampire clan (though he is only a half-blood and a vampire killer at that, too).
In his interview with Entertainment Weekly, per We Got This Covered, the actor openly declared that he was open to the concept of Blade's hunting down the glittery and uber-pale Twilight kids. Screenrant commented that the image of vampires that "Twilight" has painted distorted the true nature of these creatures of the night.
Screenrant went on to claim that if the concept does materialize in the script once the movie is approved and production starts, then it will provide a long awaited cathartic release to anyone who knows what vampires truly are.
In his interview, Wesley said that he is eager to get back into his boots and reprise his vampire hunter role. He even added that he is in much better shape now with more skills to boot, all of which could be advantageous to further strengthening his role as Blade. Also, with the advancement in cinema and imaging technology, they have more freedom to create the scenes exactly the way they imagined it.
