New "Dead Space" 4 news and release date rumors suggest that makers are already looking into the possibility of releasing a new game soon.
The survival horror RPG first made its debut in 2008, and has managed to start a following because of its interesting gameplay.
As Air Herald reported, "The plot of the game involves an Engineer called Isaac using various combat techniques in an abandoned starship that is constantly attacked by aliens. The antagonists of the game include a particular type of species called 'Necromorphs' who share similarities with zombies."
Other "Dead Space" 4 news and release date rumors claim that the new instalment will feature a very different story from its earlier versions. Some gamers and experts are also speculating that a new "breed" of Necromorphs could be unleashed should the new game debut.
"The earlier games have feature Necromorphs, who are transformed from the dead crew into horrible looking creatures in their afterlife and pose some serious threat to the character of Isaac. They even have subtypes called Slasher, Lurker and Burks," said the Air Herald article.
In terms of an actual release date, the makers of "Dead Space" has not made an official announcement as of writing. However, video game junkies are hoping for a 2017 (if not earlier) release date for the new game.
Air Herald added, "The game can be played on Microsoft windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The weapons used as a method of combat in the film have huge similarities with some very common mining tools. As part of the defeating mechanism, the player is required to cut off the arms or legs of the Necromorphs."
