Carrie Underwood's baby bump was apparent at a Nashville event earlier this week, said a report from Ace Showbiz. The former "American Idol" winner also reportedly broke down while receiving a special ACM award.

The country diva was awarded with the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award at the ACM event held last September 9, Tuesday. The pregnant hitmaker broke into tears during her acceptance speech, thanking her family and husband.

"Thank you to my family and my husband tonight, very supportive and wonderful to me. I have the best team in the universe. And I feel like I don't get enough chances to thank them publicly," said Carrie Underwood, her baby bump showing under her sleeveless peach dress.

The singer also jokingly asked after crying throughout her speech: "What is wrong with me??"

The blond beauty posted on Instagram an image later that night, showing both the ACM stage and a close shot of her after the ceremony. Carrie Underwood again poked fun at her emotional moment while accepting the award by captioning the photo: "Had such a great night at the ACM Honors! Now everyone can go back to making fun of me for crying during my speech!"

Prior to the ACM, Carrie Underwood first revealed her baby bump while at the Ravinia Festival.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight, the 31-year-old singer performed in Chicago last weekend for the Ravinia Festival. The country star flaunted her baby bump while wearing a violet floral dress.

At one point during her performance, the Grammy winner appeared to have forgotten her set list. The blond beauty laughed off the mix-up, joking: "I have pregnancy brain!"

According to an earlier report from Daily Mail, the "Jesus Take The Wheel" singer took to Twitter to break the news that she and NHL star husband Mike Fisher will be welcoming their first baby.

Carrie Underwood revealed she is pregnant by uploading to Instagram a picture of herself sitting with her two pet dogs, Ace and Penny. In the photo, her pet dogs were wearing t-shirts: one saying "I'm going to be a big brother" and the other "'I'm going to be a big sister".

The singer captioned the photo: "In honor of "Labor" Day...Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn't be happier!"
