Samsung collaborated with Diesel to manufacture series of famous bands for its new smartwatch called Gear S. The leather bands come in white and red. It used the Tizen software, though its release has yet to be announced. In case fans want to ensure that they totally know the legit punk even they own a piece of technology on their wrist.
Kidding aside, wearables and fashion are inextricable close, specifically the latest Apple event, these smartwatch are featured during the fashion week. The South Korean technology brand has been selling smartwatches and oversized high-end smartphones for years now; there is no rivalry in the Bay Area. Samsung's oversized smartphones has been trending in the market, establishing the famous product classification and then digging it for almost five years of the large profit margins. Among wearable gadgets, Samsung has been getting a large chunk of the market share, until the Apple's Watch launch on Tuesday. At the same time, the entry of Apple in the large smartphone and smartwatch markets will possibly lessen the market share of Samsung in this classification; Samsung may not be putting more sweat in this.
According to Samsung, Executuve, Jefferson Wang in his interview with Wall Street Journal, "Apple's entry into the smartwatch market brings credibility, which may work to Samsung's benefit. Samsung entered a white space, which they had to build up themselves, and it's a heavy lift to get developers involved and build the ecosystem."
