"Married With Children" spinoff is reportedly in the works but this time around, the comedy series will center on the character of Bud Bundy.

After nearly 20 years of being away from fans, the dysfunctional Bundy family will once again keep audiences entertained with their humor. The spinoff show by Sony Pictures will focus on the character of actor David Faustino, Bud, according to E! News.

As of late, pitch meetings have already been completed but it is still unclear whether or not all of the original cast members will be returning for the spinoff.

The wonderful news came just a few days after some of the cast members of "Married With Children" reunited last week to celebrate Katey Sagal's Hollywood Walk of Fame recognition, the Daily Mail reported.

Sagal played the role of wife and mother Peg Bundy. She currently stars in the hit series "Sons of Anarchy."

"Modern Family's" Ed O'Neill on the other hand played the role of a former high school football superstar who eventually became a women's shoe salesman Al Bundy, the same publication noted.

Christina Applegate played the role of the dim-witted and sexy Kelly Bundy on the show. Applegate dished on what fans may expect with the spinoff at the Hollywood Walk of Fame event, Stuff noted.

"We're going to do something with Dave maybe. I don't know if it will be in character. But I don't really know. I don't know what that's going to be. I don't know if I'm allowed to speak on that at all. So I should probably stop talking about it right now," she told E! News.

Sagal added, "We've talked about a reunion every year, but then there are so many pieces that have to be in alignment for some reason it never happens. But we love each other. Well, we're all working now, so it's hard to find the time!"

Meanwhile, Fasutino's manager spoke to Huffington Post Entertainment and said, "It's more speculative than set in stone and there's currently no official deal."
