Expect great changes and even more tears in the upcoming season of "Parenthood."

The series, which chronicled the life and struggles of the entire Braverman family will be bidding its audiences goodbye towards the end of the season.

"Parenthood" was renewed by NBC but the series will only have 13 episodes. This means that the lives of each and every single member of the Braverman family will experience a time jump.

Last month, a teaser clip for "Parenthood's" upcoming season was released and it featured the not-so-shocking twist on Amber's life: she's pregnant!

But what shocked most fans were the introduction of a new character, considering the show will already come to its end.

This season, Julia's character will be reuniting with her ex-boyfriend from law school, Chris. If you're a fan of the show, you would know how Julia is with the good guys.

In the past, Julia has already cheated on her husband with a co-parent in their children's school and now, multiple sources have confirmed that Julia will most likely leave Joel for good.

As such, Chris' involvement in the series is something fans should watch out for. He will be introduced as Julia's co-worker at her new job, that is, after she decided to resign and focus on her children's lives last season, according to Hallels.

Another big and heartbreaking twist this season has to be the death of a Braverman. In the past, sources have hinted on the death of one character but not much detail has been revealed yet, the Christian Post reported.

In the past seasons, Kristina Braverman was diagnosed with breast cancer and was cured from it. Will the death of a Braverman mean she was re-diagnosed with the disease?

Some fans are speculating that it's the Braverman patriarch who may die towards the end of the season but nothing has been revealed yet by the show's cast and creators.

"We've never told a story about losing someone in the family, and that is a very difficult story for us to tell. But it's one that I feel is a reality," show creator Jason Katims said.
