City of Heroes MMO return has been under negotiations with NCSoft, as reported in The Examiner.
City Heroes MMO return looms on the horizon after the game was taken off the market two years ago. Spiritually themed games are allegedly going to follow a possible City of Heroes return, according to The Examiner.
Several players pointed out that the possibility of a City Heroes MMO return may be entirely a fraud. Others highly suspected that the comeback deal may just end up to getting nowhere to being closed. There are players who are upset that if we see a City of Heroes return, old characters won't be relived. Players hate to make a new beginning playing entirely new characters.
There has been no announcement regarding the details of the characters if a City of Heroes comeback does pushes through. Talks about reliving the previous game's source code were not announced, either. These things indicate that the possibility of reliving the old characters and mechanics of the game seemed out of the question.
Makers of the game have assured players that the game in live update would be integrated when the actual comeback does pushes through in the market, as reported in The Examiner.
The intellectual property of the City of Heroes comeback will be outsourced to a third party. This company will also be responsible for producing spiritual partnered games such as "City of Titans, "Valiance Online," and "Heroes and Villains".
