The cast and crew of "Fast and Furious 7" remember Paul Walker on his birthday last September 12. It must have been an emotional day for them as the person who is supposed to be celebrating his 41st birthday has already passed away. One of the late actor's closest friends Vin Diesel paid tribute to his best pal by posting a video of his mini-birthday celebration on set last year.
The actor that plays Dominic Toretto captioned the heart wrenching video on Facebook, "One year ago today...Honoring Our brother..." In the last part of the footage, you will see Vin Diesel wrote "Miss You Pablo". The 47-year old actor revealed how devastated he was about what happened to Paul Walker during an interview.
MTV reported him telling the host, "It's a heavy thing, Michael. You know?" Vin Diesel explained, "I grew up in the bouncer world, and we lost people while we were bouncing. But the brotherhood in Paul Walker was something completely different."
He continued, "It was someone that we... we grew up in the business together, and we became famous together, and we represented the biggest franchise together. He was my partner, and it's a strange thing to... I've been acting all my life and they don't teach you in acting, how to mourn someone and simultaneously pretend they're in a scene with you." Paul Walker's brothers Cody and Caleb finished some of the scenes in "Fast and Furious 7" so we can just imagine how difficult it was for the siblings and Vin Diesel to complete some scenes.
The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star said, "It's one of the darker moments in this, in my journey. Yeah. Yeah guys, you know it's a rough one. You all had people you love that passed away." In Vin Diesel's previous Facebook post, the actor shared his photo together with the late Paul Walker and wrote "To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die - Thomas Campbell"
That message clearly explains how Vin Diesel is handling the loss of a co-star, a best friend, and a brother. Check out Paul Walker's last birthday celebration footage at the set of Fast and Furious 7" below:
