After 12 years, top star Jang Dong Gun is coming back to the small screen.
Jang Dong Gun has been casted for SBS' drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity,' which will air its first episode on May 26. His last appearance in the small screen was for MBC's drama 'All About Eve,' in 2000. Expectations are high as he will be working with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook and director Shin Woo Chul, famous for their works with 'Secret Garden' and 'City Hall.'
However, the new drama is already facing a bit of a conflict.
The drama will air at 9:50 in the weekends. The problem is that it will air on a Sunday. The show 'Gag Concert' has already announced on the 1st that their episodes are scheduled to air from 9:08 to 10:41. The two shows will overlap for about 50 minutes.
The producers are worried about the times: "'Gag Concert' is a popular show that pulls in viewer ratings of about 20%. They have a pretty solid audience."
'A Gentleman's Dignity' stars Jang Dong Gun and Kim Ha Neul, with its setting taking place in the mid '30s to the early '40s.
