"Now You See Me 2" release date confirmed!

According to Variety.com, "Now You See Me 2" will officially premiere on June 20, 2016.

Original casts Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine will reprise their roles in the said film, added by the source.

In 2013, the first "Now You See Me" film garnered $350 million in worldwide box office.

MovieWeb interviewed the director of "Now You See Me 2" he said:

"We're actively working on the sequel to 'Now You See Me', so that is happening. We're writing it, and it's pretty fun. We had such a great time doing that and we loved the characters. Our biggest problem now is that we have too many great ideas. We're sort of saying, 'What if he would do that? That would be amazing, I want to see this, I want to see that.' We want it to be more intense and twisty as the first one, but also learn more about the characters and go deeper, what a great sequel should do."

He answered about the plot and cast information:

"That's going to take not too long, but enough so, just like in the first one, it's perfectly crafted. If you think about it, David Copperfield takes five years to prep, to create and prep. We just have a couple of years to do ours."

Meanwhile, another movie to look forward is "Dirty Grandpa", which is currently working by "Highschool Musical" actor Zac Efron and Robert De Niro. According to Hollywood Reporter, it is set to launch on Dec. 25, 2015.
