Mayim Bialik was her usual candid self when she recently revealed that she's unaware who exactly is Ariana Grande.
"The Big Bang Theory" star recently took her thoughts to her blog to slam the "Problem" singer and a billboard that featured her in her skimpy lingerie attire.
"There is one for Ariana Grande, and I will go ahead and admit I have no idea who she is or what she does. Based on the billboard, she sells lingerie. Or stiletto heels. Why is she in her underwear on this billboard though? And if she has a talent (is she a singer?), they why does she have to sell herself in lingerie? I mean, I know that society is patriarchal and women are expected to be sexy and sexually available no matter what we do in society, but I guess now I need to explain that to my sons?" she wrote.
The 38-year-old actress who became a hit in the 1980s show "Blossom," added, "Am I a crotchety old lady? I guess so. But I just don't understand why this is what ads need to look like. Why do I have to be OK with young women literally in lingerie on gigantic billboards? If I want to see women in lingerie, I can walk through any mall with a Victoria's Secret."
Bialiak, who practices Judaism and has two young sons are obviously not pleased with what she saw, according to FOX News.
Meanwhile, Bialik's recent statements were not well-received by Grande's loyal fans, with thousands of them who took their thoughts to Twitter just to slam her, the Washington Post noted.
Twitter user @jcblovesariana wrote, "@missmayim you're old and ugly so that must be why you're upset."
@coldplaygrande wrote, "@missmayim Stay unfamous." @arianasgambino tweeted, "@missmayim you honestly need to shut the f*ck up."
