"Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch gets wet for charity as he expressed his preference for Jessica Chastain as Ofelia for his play "Hamlet."
In a report from MailOnline, "Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch is seen taking off his shirt and showing off his chest.
The British tabloid said that the photo is a racier take on Mr. Darcy's iconic scene from the BBC show "Pride and Prejudice" as part of the 10th anniversary of the Give Up Clothes For Good campaign, which aims to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
The photo is taken by photographer Jason Bell who, along with "Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch, also took photos of Liam Neeson, Jerry Hall, Charlie Hunnam and Jerry Hall. The photographs were put on display at La Galleria Pall Mall in London on Tuesday. The exhibit will run until September 20.
Jerry Hall spoke about his participation in the campain as he said, per MailOnline: "More children than ever are now surviving cancer thanks to the work of Cancer Research UK but it is still the leading cause of death in children. "So please support Give Up Clothes for Good and drop off a bag of clothing at your local TK Maxx store. Remember, you can now donate all year round."
Since the Give Up Clothes For Good campaign started 10 years ago, the initiative already raised over £17.6 million.
Meanwhile, the "Star Trek: Into Darkeness" star went giddy when told by Yahoo Movies that one of Jessica Chastain's dream is to be in a Shakespeare play.
"I've never played Ophelia. I always thought I'd play Ophelia. And it's probably not now in my future...it's a strange thing for theater with actresses, because you kind of grow away from a role," she said.
After "Sherlock" cast Benedict Cumberbatch got wind of the 37-year-old actress' comments, he said: "She's terrific! She can come and join our party if she wants. She hasn't aged out of our production. I'm an older Hamlet, and we can all be contemporaries in the young world of that play."
He also asked Yahoo Movies to "give her a call."
"Call her up and see if she's that interested in playing Ophelia now. I don't think it's an age thing, Jess. It would be lovely for us!" the 38-year-old actor said.
