When your last directorial effort were as well received by both critics and audiences alike as the Dark Knight series, your next movie is sure to be very highly anticipated. And Interstellar is exactly that movie for director Christopher Nolan.

Interstellar movie news have been few and far and between, and so few movies have been wrapped in mystery as this one is. One of the biggest reveals was actually unveiled at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con when the first full trailer of the movie was released. Since then, two more Interstellar movie trailers were released (watch the third one below!)

Today we also got a bit of exciting Interstellar movie news with the arrival of the newest poster for what will surely be an epic sci-fi movie. Empire showed the exclusive Interstellar poster and it shows the film's star Matthew McConaughey suited up in space gear and trudging along a very icy planet. It is reported that Empire actually used this photo to accompany a feature article on the film. Christopher Nolan reportedly though the photo was great, and used it for the official Interstellar poster.

What we know so far s that Interstellar is about time travel and worm holes, courtesy of Kip Thorne, on whose science the movie is based on (Thorne also serves as official consultant from the movie). But besides this, what we know is only what we can conclude from the trailer. Matthew McConaughey plays a father who is called upon by the government on some top-secret, dangerous mission that will take him to the far-reaches of outer because mankind was mean to leave the world, as Michael Caine's character says. The movie's tagline is, "Mankind was born on earth. But we were never meant to die here."

Interstellar, which also stars Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace, Casey Affleck, Wes Bentley, Michael Caine, and John Lithgow, will hit the movie screens on November 7th.
