Following accusations of child abuse, latest Adrian Peterson news report that Minnesota Vikings running back will not be allowed in any future NFL activities until he resolves the mess he is in.
In an official statement released by the Minnesota Vikings, Peterson will be put on the exempt-commissioner's permission list.
"In response, the League informed the team of the option to place Adrian on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list, which will require that Adrian remain away from all team activities while allowing him to take care of his personal situation until the legal proceedings are resolved. After giving the situation additional thought, we have decided this is the appropriate course of action for the organization and for Adrian," the statement read.
News claim that Peterson is in boiling water after he allegedly beat his own 4-year-old son with a tree branch to discipline him.
"The beating allegedly resulted in numerous injuries to the child, including cuts and bruises to the child's back, buttocks, ankles, legs and scrotum, along with defensive wounds to the child's hands," Forbesreported.
Forbes also said that Peterson put leaves in his son's mouth before proceeding to "whooping" him.
In a statement released through his agency, Peterson said, "I am not a perfect son. I am not a perfect husband. I am not a perfect parent, but I am, without a doubt, not a child abuser."
"I am someone that disciplined his child and did not intend to cause him any injury."
Meanwhile, former NBA star had this to say about the whole child abuse fiasco:
"Whipping - we do that all the time. Every black parent in the south is going to be in jail under those circumstances...I think the question about whether Adrian Peterson went overboard ..."
"Every black parent in my neighborhood in the South would be in trouble or in jail under those circumstances."
