It's been almost four years since we last saw or heard Haruhi Suzumiya in any form of anime media. Nagaru Tanigawa's light novel series has been a huge success, not only in Asia but around the world as well. Kyoto animation produced the anime TV series of manga way back in April 2-July 2 of 2006, and was rebroadcast from April 3-October 9 of 2009. It also spawned a spin-off series (The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya) and an anime film (The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya).

The story of this beloved anime/manga phenomenon centers on Kyon, a normal highschool student whose normal life is changed forever courtesy of his energetic and very weird classmate Haruhi. She forms a club called the SOS Brigade whose mission is to find strange and abnormal beings such as aliens, ghost and espers. The members of group include the quiet bibliophile Yuki Nagato, the soft-spoken and scared Mikuru Asahina, the cheerful and mysterious Itsuki Koizumi, and Kyon himself, but little does she realized that her members are ironically the beings she was looking for, and these three believed that Haruhi has the power to bend and create reality to the point she could destroy the world out of the boredom. It's up to Kyon and the gang to keep her entertained and watch over her if she does something that could change the entire universe.
