After the success of the movie The Fault In Our Stars, with actors Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort turning in breakout performances, the next movie adaption of the author's next book is bound to cause a stir. John Green's Paper Towns movie version just got a big boost today with the announcement on who got cast as the female lead.
Supermodel Cara Delevingne reportedly took everyone by surprise and landed her the lead role in the upcoming film adaptation of the bestselling novel. John Green himself confirmed this exciting news on Twitter, saying: "Cara Delevingne's audition blew everyone away (including me!) and she understands Margo profoundly. I am so excited!"
De Levingne is turning out to be the newest "It" girl, following a successful modeling career, which she is now beefing up with serious acting projects. Cara herself was over the moon at the fact that she will be playing the lead role in the John Green Paper Towns movie version. The 22 year old expressed her excitement on Twitter saying, "Thank you so much guys!! I am so excited! Ahhhh!"
