Teen actor Yoo Seung Ho might be in the army, but he's still one of the in-demand actors of his generation.
With only a few months left before his discharge from the military, both fans and industry producers are looking forward to the actor's return to the limelight.
According to an unnamed drama producer, "One of the most desired actors for next year's dramas is Yoo Seung Ho. Before he entered the army, he was mostly limited to doing child roles, but after his enlistment, he could portray any character he's capable of, especially those with youthful and boyish personalities."
In addition, "After actors like Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Min Ho, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Jong Suk, and others, Yoo Seung Ho is next in line in becoming a representative male lead, especially since said actors will be enlisting soon."
His management company San Entertainment confirmed that one of the projects he received is the film "Joseon Magician," which has a similar concept to the drama "Joseon Gunman."
A representative said, "We're getting several proposals for his upcoming projects, and although 'Joseon Magician' is one of them, we are yet to reach a decision."
His last project before enlistment was the 2013 melo-drama "I Miss You," in which he acted alongside Park Yoo Chun and Yoon Eun Hye.
Yoo Seung Ho enlisted on March 5, and is scheduled for discharge on December 4.
