When news of Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's baby being born was reported, fans all over the world took to social media to express how they felt. Some were messages of congratulations to the new parents, majority, however, were left in tears.

According to Hollywood Life, Eva Mendes gave birth to her daughter with boyfriend, Ryan Gosling, on September 12.

They managed to keep Mendes' bundle of joy for about seven months. However, rumors were already afire about the pregnancy but no confirmation was given until TV host Ellen Degeneres finally confirmed the speculations through Twitter.

The host posted, "Congrats to @RyanGosling and @EvaMendes! That's going to be the most beautiful, bilingual, part-superhero, well-dressed, romantic baby ever."

A series of hilarious Tweets followed the TV hosts' declaration months back.

Ronan Farrow posted, "Sending Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes all best wishes for a bouncing, healthy, annoyingly good-looking baby."

Another user Tweeted, "Bit put out that I'll have to be Eva Mendes's baby's stepmother some day."

Now Twitter exploded again with the actual birth of Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's baby.

"Am I the only one still in denial about Ryan Gosling becoming a dad?" one Twitter user asked.

One more Tweet read, "Ryan Gosling is officially a dad. He is now the hottest dad ever to exist."

Elan Gale congratulated the new parents, "Congratulations to Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling for having a baby that will make every other baby look like a monster by comparison."

One more Twitter user opted to stay in denial, posting, "Ryan Gosling has a baby now. I guess I'll get a tub of ice cream & watch the Notebook pretending it isn't so."

Fans even created a Twitter account aptly named Ryan Gosling's baby.

"When I grow up, I'll be a model, an artist, and a DJ. But my parents will make me spend my summers volunteering. #perfectparents," @GoslingsBaby posted.
