Chat Center goes Freemium in social media outlets.
According to Tech Crunch, the new Chat Center going Freemium means users can come up and use creative names like "taxi," "iPhone," and "folgerscrystalsdontcausecancer..." for a minimal fee.
Chat Center going Freemium will make 50 trademarked words available to users for rent. Renting premium names will cost $19.99 in subscription fee.
Chat Center founder, Keith Teare elaborated on the other great features of the app, as reported in Tech Crunch:
"Chat is free, but it's fragmented into silos. A person in silo A could not chat with a person in Silo B,"
"For the first time, Mobile chat can be universal using mobile numbers and chat names and free. There is no need to know which app a person has installed."
The Chat Center app is now enabled in cellphone systems. Tech Crunch reported that users may now use their Chat Center account to talk to their family and loved ones through SMS. Users won't need to download an additional app to access this feature. The system runs on web-based connectivity, so easy accessibility is guaranteed.
Chat Center founder, Teare, is giving What's Apps and Meebos a run for its money in the online industry. Teare is making efforts to market Chat Center as the current universal messaging app.
So far, Chat Center has seen a registration of more than one million names since its inception, as reported in Tech Crunch.
