Nick and Vanessa Lachey's son turned 2 in style!

The couple celebrated their son's birthday with a construction-themed party.

Vanessa posted this message in Instagram, Wednesday, as reported by People magazine:

"Cam's construction themed birthday party this past weekend was soooo fun!"

Vanessa was hands-n in choosing the color appropriate for an outdoor-themed party for Camden. As reported in People, she wrote in a message in Instagram:

"I wanted some color instead of the typical black, yellow orange and brown. So here's what we came up with,"

"I LOVE the pop of color!"

The message came with images of the invitation for Nick and Vanessa Lachey's son's big day.

The couple capped the cheerful mood for the party with sweet pastries. Construction-themed cupcakes and cake pops were set in a high sugar voltage sign at the buffet table. Guests claimed their drinks from a refuelling station to set a more realistic construction outdoor environment.

The three-tiered cakes were provided by Cakes by Rumy.

Vanessa added this message in her Instagram account, pictured dressed in forewoman attire in compliment of the theme of the party:

"Cam's birthday cake was perfect! He loves tires so we decided on a huge wheel base."

Before the party ended, the young guests took home some tool boxes as souvenirs from Nick and Vanessa Lachey's son's memorable birthday celebration.
